Application of time-frequency methods for analysis of dynamic silo flow

摘要
In the paper, different time-frequency methods were used to analyse abroad frequency spectrum of silo vibrations during emptying. A cylindrical silo with the different wall roughness was excited by flow of cohesive and cohesionless bulk solids. A Fourier Transform (FT), Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) and Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) were applied to fully describe the dynamics characteristics of frequencies of the silo discharging process.
