Photon-photon to atom-photon entanglement transfer

摘要
Using a high-brightness narrowband source of Ca-40(+)-resonant entangled photon pairs, we transferred the photon-photon polarization entanglement to atom-photon entanglement by heralded absorption of one photon of the pair.
