摘要
The continuing shortage of fuel resources and the deterioration of the environment have forced the energy revolution, which is characterized by sustainable development, to accelerate. In this situation, the concept of the virtual power plant is introduced and considered to be the ultimate configuration of the Energy Internet. In this paper, the emphasis is given on the business models of virtual power plants. Firstly, the developments of the concept and connotation of virtual power plant are analyzed. And then, based on the Osterwalder business model canvas, the business model of virtual power plant is analyzed from nine different perspectives, including the customer segments, the value propositions, the channels, the customer relationships, the revenue streams, the key resources, the key activities, the key partnerships, and the cost structure. Finally, research prospects are given for the guidance of further research to innovate the business models of virtual power plant.
