ANN modeling of micro-machined gas sensor signals

摘要：
In this paper, an integrated micro-machined gas sensor array, associated with pattern recognition (PARC) techniques, such as artificial neural networks (ANNs), is proposed to overcome reported problems associated with drift and poor specificity encountered during operation of individual gas sensor. The proposed sensor consists of an array of cells designed to utilize a separate micro-heater, where the thermal cross-talk and thermal spreading among these cells are minimized. Similar designs of this sensor is also discussed elsewhere [1].
