Research on Development of Modern Logistic Industry and Its Implications for Henan Province of China

As an emerging service industry, modem logistic industry is growing up quickly and becoming the polar industry and new increasing point of national economy, China should emphases to develop synthesis logistic and the third party logistic. As the heartland of China's modern logistic, how Henan province adopts to the new development situation becomes an urgent and important issue. Under this background, this paper firstly analyzed the experiences of abroad logistic industry, particularly America and Japan, as well as Shanghai which has the relative successful logistic in China. Secondly, this paper introduced the status of Henan logistic and its problems. Finally, according to the successful experiences domestic and abroad and current situation of Henan province, the paper put forward some suggestions from government management system, industrial organization and macroeconomic policy guidance in order to promote the development of modern logistic of Henan province.
