摘要
Phenolic compounds are important in higher plants because of their beneficial effects on human health and they have attracted a lot of scientific interest. In this study we determined some phenolics in Crocus sativus L. corms by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) after silylation by N-methyl-N-trimethylsilyl trifluoro acetamide (MSTFA) + 1% trimethyl ido silane (TMIS). We also detected the amount of these phenolics in saffron corms. Thus, characterization of phenolic compounds in saffron corms extract is an important result with regard to the biological properties.
