Article reviews dosimetric options of prostate LDR brachytherapy with permanent I-125 implants, including adaptive brachytherapy, dose escalation, real time planning, post implant dosimetry and implantation techniques. Also it pays attention to the prostate cancer diagnostics on the basis of modern radiological imaging.
