摘要
In this paper, horizontal spindle in the actual working condition because of its high speed rotation and other causes of failure problem of wear and fracture, the metallographic microstructure, surface coating and the hook tooth wear of domestic and foreign spindle was observed and analyzed by metallography and electronic scanning microscope. The analysis results show that: the horizontal spindle core structure is mainly composed of lath martensite composition, the grain size is about 10 mu m, 30 mu m; the spindle of the coating is chromium layer, but domestic spindle chrome layer is thinner, and poor uniformity; the wear form of horizontal spindle is mainly for the coating wear, steel substrate exposed in the work environment easy to oxidation, thus failure. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the material subsequent and performance research of horizontal spindle, has an important meaning to the cotton picker horizontal spindle localization.
