摘要
This article aims to evaluate the fundamental elements of instructional design, its theories and models, addressing the central issues of the current debate on the role of instruction and its design, through the different activities carried out and the results obtained from the application of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) design model with the rapid prototyping variant for an online course. The analysis instruments were applied for collecting information such as surveys and rubrics, beginning with a survey of needs and finishing with the course's evaluation by the design team and the participants. The main findings indicate opportunities for improvement in several aspects of the model's phases, such as the instructions for the activities, level of motivation and interest, teamwork and aspects related to the allocation of time for the activities; on the other hand, aspects such as the quality, structure and relevance of the contents, the educational resources used, the strategy and didactic approach and the interface of the platform were the best evaluated by the participants.
