The problem of 3D spectral imaging with random spectral access is discussed. Proposed solution is based on dual-channel double acousto-optical (AO) monochromator. Each of two AO cells in it has two spatially separated entrance pupils for transmission of stereoscopic images. In such a scheme spectral drift of the image doesn't appear, while spectral and spatial distortion is minimal. 3D spectral imaging based on this monochromator and Abbe stereomicroscope is described. Possible applications of proposed AOTF-based 3D imaging spectrometer are discussed.
