摘要：
The paper deals with the system of application of European Union coordination regulations on the payment of family allowances. It focuses on comparing selected controlable family benefits, namely parental allowance, to compare the duration of parental leave in the EU Member States between 2010 and 2016 with respect to the Slovak Republic.
