摘要
We introduce Pervasive fetus Monitoring, which provides methods for integrating the medical equipment required for obstetrician and gynaecologist, collecting the data, processing the information and to send information to smart mobile device (android)in case of emergency, an alert message can be sent to doctor and ambulance. Our proposed system can obtain vital information from medical equipment and operate on these data to find the patients health status by analyzing information in real time. It uses statistics such as heartbeat of fetus, gestational sac, crown rump length etc from ultra sonogram scanner and range thresholds to issue alert. Alert is propagated in a three tier fashion, so that the end user and his/her social contacts have a chance to avoid false alerts before contacting medical professionals. We also provide the planning and development of back-end software for an electronic Medical Record (eMR) Management System. The system is deployed on the well-known Google's Android open platform, that offers easy networking procedures and low design complexity. The aim of this work is to present the system's client, which operates on a smart mobile device (Android based) and acquires data from the eMR connecting to a centralized database offered by the Hospital or Clinic. This framework can be extended to a full edged personal health monitoring system by incorporating additional medical equipment such as pulse-oximeter, glucometer. (c) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
