摘要：

On the opening of new millennium, Korea has announced an ambitious long term space development plan. So far the Korean space program proved to be a useful way of delivering crucial information within and around Korean peninsular. In this paper, the on-going Korean remote sensing programs are introduced mainly focused on the light weight and cost-effective SAR instrument development. The long-term plan of Korean remote sensing space program in the next decades is described as well.
