摘要：
Paper emphasises the positive impact of the forest management planning on the condition of Polish forests after World War II. Attention was drawn to the solutions in the forest law supporting sustainable forest management. General views on modern forest management planning of three distinguished scientists, specialists in forest ecosystem functioning, Aleksander Sokolowski, Eugeniusz Bernadzki and Andrzej Szujecki were presented.
