摘要
In this paper, game theory models are proposed for the exchange of workload/traffic among data centers within a network according to the availability of green energy resources at these centers. Both homogeneous and heterogeneous data centers are considered so they can have similar or different traffic handling capabilities, respectively. This leads to a non-cooperative game model for homogeneous data centers while heterogeneous data centers form a cooperative game model to exchange their workload/traffic. Numerical results are presented which demonstrate a reduction in energy costs using both models with a significant improvement in average utility for the data centers.
