摘要
A slow-wave substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) H-plane horn antenna loaded on the surface for Ka-band applications is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna is designed based on the slow-wave substrate integrated waveguide (SW-SIW) structure, which can change the field distribution in the SIW horn, and achieve good return loss, radiation pattern performance. According to the simulated results, the return loss is less than -10dB from 32.95 GHz to 34.58 GHz, and the maximum antenna gain is about 11.3 dBi. Additionally, stable symmetrical radiation pattern with low side lobe and backward radiation over the entire operation band. Therefore, the proposed horn antenna is suitable for high capacity millimeter-wave communication in the future.
