摘要
As the complexity of software applications are growing rapidly day by day, traditional software reliability methods are insufficient to analyze inter-component interactions of modular software systems. For this the number of test cases may be extremely large, so that it is hard to extensively test each software component in a given resource limitations. This review discuss various reliability estimation techniques such as reliability analysis using path testing for complex component based software systems, Support Vector Machine and virtual sample based reliability model, method based on Correlated Component Failures and a determination method for software reliability qualitative indices according to the pro le formed by all stages of the software life cycle. This study helps to efficiently discover new meaningful knowledge to enhance techniques used in software reliability prediction.
