摘要
Following renewable energy sources have been taken into account: solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, energy from biomass and wastes, soil, water and air heal, tide energy, as well as sea wave energy. The paper gives a historical overview and the state of the art of renewable energy sources' technology. It analyses the advantages of renewable energy sources, reveals the disadvantages and side effects regarding the application of renewable energy sources' systems. In the framework of environmental protection, especially in reducing the CO(2) emission, a comparison with conventional energy, sources has been made. The usage of soil, water and air heat has been shown on example of the heat pumps. Prices of renewable energy systems have been analysed with economic indicators of application. As a conclusion, the real possibilities of renewable energy usage in the field of marine technology engineering have been pointed out.
