摘要
This article proposes Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of PV-wind-FC hybrid system feeding a new community in Egypt-New El-Farafra Oasis as a Case Study. The proposed system includes PV system, permanent magnet synchronous generator based wind turbine and fuel cell with an energy storage system. MPPT applied to PV, wind and fuel cell using Cuckoo search (CS) artificial intelligence technique separately through three DC-DC boost converters. These converters are also used to increase and unify the output voltage of the three sources after MPPT technique proposed to a common DC bus. DC/AC inverter is utilized to connect the hybrid power system into AC loads of proposed community. The three converts and the inverter are controlled by PI controller tuned by Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The results show that the ability of Cuckoo Search control technique to achieve MPPT for each generation source. On the other hand, the PI controller of both converters and inverter design is discussed. Hybrid system proposed succeeded in feeding the AC loads of the new community at MPPT.
