摘要
The growing relevancy of composite pressure vessels for compressed gases is based on their light weight and high compressive strength. The difficulties in applying material parameters to the properties of real components are highlighted by testing selected composite cylinders. The testing procedures have to be significant as well as practical. Tensile tests on ring like sections of cylinders made of fibre reinforced plastics reveal reproducible results beyond the performance of previous techniques.
