KNOWLEDGE CONTINUITY IN BUSINESS CONTINUITY CONTEXT

This article is about knowledge continuity, which is a part of business continuity concept. It is focused on small department at technical University in Prague, the Czech Republic. Knowledge continuity was analyzed in area of education. The Findings show, that there exist a lot of potential dangers and the Department should to increase a number of shared study materials. Dangers in research area were not analyzed, because team work and sharing of results seems to be enough to hold knowledge continuity in this area. Also managerial area is enough secure, because previous Department leaders are still in Department staff.
