Design and Implementation of a High-speed, Large-capacity, Multi-type Data Recording System Used in Wideband Phased-array Radar

摘要
With the development of radar technology, higher requirements are placed to the corresponding data recording system. This paper designs a high-speed, large-capacity, multi-type data recording system fora wideband phased-array radar. It can make independent and parallel data recording of the following five types: 1, wideband direct sampling data, with about 1.6 GB/s record speed; 2, wideband dechirp data, with about 30 MB/s record speed; 3, narrowband sub-array channel data, with about 3.2 GB/s record speed; 4, narrowband DBF data, with about 600 MB/s record speed; 5, interference signal direct sampling data, with about 3.7 GB/srecord speed. High speed data record is realized by the combination of parallel solid state storage technique and RAID technique. And data transmission is realized by high-speed serial transmission technique based on FPGA with protocols like PCIe and Aurora. The parallel recording of multiple data is the focus of system design, which can be realized in the following ways: 1, channel time division multiplexing; 2, hardware and software interaction of PCIe data transfer; 3, FPGA data joint of data with multiple fiber channels. The research has been successfully applied in a wideband phased-array radar system.
