INSERTION OF YOUNG PEOPLE ON THE ROMANIAN LABOR MARKET

In any economy the performances of the labor market depend on the correlation of the educational offers and initial professional training with the requierements of the labor market. Some researchers have reached the conclusion that this market is so important, that it must be considered the barometer of achieving the competitive economy. On the romanian market there is a gap between the educational system and the labor market. This is a conclusion from the project "The office for the observation of the labor market and of the quality of jobs" conducted by National Unions Association. In this respect it is recommended the rethinking of policies in the field of education, taking into account the changes in the economic and social environment, so that it can be a correlation between the requirements of the labor market evolution and the qualifications provided by the educational system.
