摘要
The results of experimental study of plasma and magnetic field fast variations in the magnetosheath and their comparison with the gasdynamic model are presented. These variations on the scale of minutes or tens of minutes are several times larger than simultaneous solar wind plasma and interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) variations and cannot be explained by the motion of the magnetosheath as whole. The level of variations does not depend on the angle between the IMF vector and the normal to the bow shock (theta(BN)).
