摘要：
This paper aims to examine the causal relationship between real house prices growth and economic growth (real PDI, personal disposable income) for 23 countries and to an aggregate. To this end, we employ a Granger causality test in the frequency domain to distinguish short and middle (temporary) and long-run (lasting) causality. This paper contributes to the housing and the macroeconomic literature being the first study investigating causality between house prices and growth in high and low frequencies.
