摘要
This paper presents the process of the designing of a broadband X-band antenna. A relative bandwidth of 20% was obtained for a footprint of less than 0.7 lambda(0) x 0.7 lambda(0). The gain of the antenna in the upper half-plane is about 5.1 dBi. A comparative study is also presented showing the advantages of the new antenna compared to a simple rectangular patch antenna.
