Research on the Infiltrating the Ideas and Methods of Mathematical Modeling in College Mathematics Teaching

With the development of society, the mathematics is applied in more areas with more influence. Mathematics is more important and indispensably in social science and nature science such as military affairs, economy, management, and so on. In this situation, it is urgent to penetrate the idea of mathematical modeling into college mathematics teaching, and to let the students to practice the initial experience of mathematical ideas and methods used in practice. However, it is hard to new college students to model real problems into mathematical model. It is a crucial to infiltrate the idea of mathematical model in mathematics education. This article focuses on the idea of infiltrating mathematical modeling in the teaching of mathematics and presents the methods how to train students' ability of modeling real problems into mathematical model.
