Research on Improvement of Multi-motor Synchronous Controller of Rolling Mill independent Drive Elastic System with Considering Torsional Vibration

摘要
The research is about the independent drive system of the rolling mill, it needs to synchronize the rotational speeds of the upper and lower drag motors. In the process of sudden rolling load, the torsional vibration caused by the elastic connection will destroy the synchronization. To solve this problem, state observer-based state feedback control is added to the rolling mill multi-motor synchronous control system of roll independent transmission. We changed the input during the improved research of the synchronous controller, the purpose is to verify the effect of different physical quantities as input for synchronization. The simulation results show that the state feedback control can effectively suppress the torsional vibration and improve synchronous performance. The difference of the electromagnetic torque of motors as the input could reduce the synchronization error by 35.7%, but the time used for synchronization is slightly longer. After that, the rotational speed difference between the rolls as input of the synchronous controller, it not only reduces synchronous error by 46%, but also reduces the time it takes to synchronize.
