摘要
Probability is an important and complex field of study. To that end, a few basic topics of the theory of probability are essential to understanding the level of statistics in courses taught by faculty. These basic themes will be considered in this e-learning course. The introduction, which discussed the definitions of probability, was not easily developed. The basic concepts section shows the calculation of the probability in a variety of simple situations in order to introduce the concepts of probability to the subjects of statistics taught in the FESC. As such, an e-learning model is required to (a) optimize the contribution to the content, skills and competencies that students must demonstrate (b) integrate statistical software in courses to highlight applications to problems and tangible contexts of concepts and methods (c) develop interactive materials that facilitate updating and learning by experimentation (d) introduce a model of continuous assessment that guides and prepares students in their training and (g) promote collaborative learning online by assigning projects and activities to be carried out in working groups. The use of the information technology allows us to implement a new approach to modern statistics which in effect tells us that it is not important to memorize formulas or perform complex arithmetic calculations by hand. On the contrary, you can concentrate on results in a faster way using technology (software, advanced calculators, specialized web sites, etc), then apply practical results through critical thinking.
