The Contribution of VTE to Labor Force Transfer in Rural Area of China

China, a country with a large population in rural area, has to get a lot of professional laborers commanding science and technology, in order to realize the fast growth of economy. This paper holds the point that the method to solve the problem of rural labor force transfer is to improve the comprehensive quality of agricultural workers and farmers, who go to work in city, through developing VTE of them. Feder's two-section model has been taken to verify the contribution degree of VTE to the increase of agricultural economic aggregate. Then Granger causal relation has been adopted to verify the relation between VTE scale and rural labor transfer scale, so that the contribution of VTE to rural labor transfer will be verified, which will urge government to develop VTE by taking it as an institution mean to improve the social and economic position of disadvantaged groups.
