摘要：
The xenon lamp laryngo-stroboscope is a useful piece of equipment for diagnosing diseases of the vocal cord. However, it is heavy and requires a high-voltage power supply. We created a light-emitting diode (LED) laryngo-stroboscope to overcome the drawbacks of the xenon lamp stroboscope. The LED laryngo-stroboscope is constructed of a micro CCD camera with a LED stroboscope. When the probe is inserted into a subject, via the mouth, it is possible to obtain a stroboscopic video view of the vocal cords. The LED laryngo-stroboscope is a new light-weight, battery-operable instrument for laryngology.
