摘要
8-HQTF terpolymeric resin was synthesized by condensation of 8-hydroxy quinoline (8-HQ), thiourea and formaldehyde in 1:1:2 mol ratio in the presence of HCl as a catalyst. A-synthesized material was authenticated by elemental analysis, FTIR, XRD and H-1 NMR spectroscopy. Cr(VI) removal were studied by using 8-HQTF via Batch equilibrium method, while Langmuir adsorption isotherm model was employed for detail adsorption study. The removal efficiency of Cr(VI) was found to be increase with adsorbent doses from 1 to 6 gm, and at 6 gm maximum efficacy was found. The result shows the maximum removal of Cr (VI) can be done nearly 94%. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
