摘要
This paper describes the use of wavelet transform for analyzing power system fault transients in order to determine the fault location. It utilizes the A-type traveling wave fault location method,according to the characteristics of catenaries and traveling wave fault location principle. It builds the AT power supply model by using electromagnetic transient simulation software ATP Draw, and also uses the program of A-type traveling wave fault location in Matlab by wavelet analysis tools, as to achieve the purpose of location by detecting the initial transient current traveling wave.
