E-Learning: Developing a Framework for Web Based Learning Tools

Electronic Learning (e-Learning) services have evolved since computers were first used in education. There is a trend to move toward blended learning services, where computer-based activities are integrated with practical or classroom-based situations. Online education is rapidly increasing, and online doctoral programs have even developed at leading research universities [4]. For this, the present educational institutes have to take various steps so that traditional teaching method can be substituted using enhanced technology. In this research, detailed case studies on e-Learning tools have been conducted. The study upshots lead us to provide an effective framework to develop an e-Learning portal. The fundamental role of this research is to propose a framework for developing an efficient learning tool and explains the major features behind this tool.
