摘要：
As known to all, films can be used as teaching materials for English study. But in reality, there are not many English learners who really put it into practice. Most English learners pay much attention to the linguistic competence but neglect the pragmatic competence, while the pragmatic competence should be the goal of all language study. This paper aims to introduce the necessity, feasibility and most important the effects of films on cultivation of students' pragmatic competence.
