摘要：

United Nations Peace Operations may include in their mandate the possibility of monitoring the human rights situation. However, one of the notable exceptions is the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO). Therefore, our goal is to analyze what role MINURSO can play in the observation of human rights in Western Sahara, as well as to formulate some proposals in this regard.
