Cross-Correlation Matrix-based Atomic Norm Minimization for L-shaped Array DOA Estimation

摘要
A novel two dimension direction-of-arrival (2D-DOA) estimation method for L-shaped array using atomic norm minimization based on the cross-correlation matrix is proposed in this paper. We first reconstruct the autocorrelation matrix of observed signals in the Toeplitz structure by cross-correlation matrix-based atomic norm minimization (CCMANM), and then employ the reconstructed autocorrelation matrix together with Root-MUSIC to retrieve the corresponding frequency. Finally, a pair matching technique based on cross-correlation matrix is presented. In contract to the subspace-based methods, the proposed method can be carried out without knowing the number of source and numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and outperformance of the proposed method.
