摘要
Web service is promising Technology to efficiently integrate disparate software components over various types of systems and to exchange various business artifacts across business organizations. As many web services are available on Internet, QoS (Quality of Service) becomes increasingly important to distinguish different service providers. In this work, we propose a QoS analysis methodology for web services, and introduce SimQom4W (SIMulation-based Qos-aware cOMposer for Web Services) that implements our methodology for QoS-aware web Service composition. SimQom4W 1) graphically describes web services and the flow between then, 2) automatically generates test codes and simulation codes for the web process and executes them for QoS analysis under various load conditions, 3) resolve conflicting QoS requirements using optimization techniques, and 4) reports analysis and estimation results to help service customers verify QoS of their web services.
