摘要
For vibration control of buildings subjected to horizontal and vertical seismic excitation, active dynamic vibration absorbers which can control at the same time horizontal and vertical vibration of structures are presented in this paper. One of them is a simple combination of conventional hybrid active dynamic vibration absorbers and the other is a Seesaw-type Active Dynamic Vibration Absorber (SADVA) which is constructed such that the frame supporting a tuned mass damper is vertically and rotationally driven like a seesaw by two actuators and can afford to control the horizontal and vertical responses of a structure. In the numerical calculations, transient and seismic responses are obtained and they are compared among the types of SADVA, the tuned mass damper (TMD) and hybrid active dynamic vibraton absorber (HADVA) by using a single-degree-of-freedom model and a 5-stories model. As a result, it is demonstrated that the SADVA showed the good vibration control performance.
