TMD control research and design of tall buildings subjected to seismic excitation

摘要：

Based on the dynamic magnification factor derived for tall building with tuned mass damper (TMD), the tables for TMD optimum parameters were given by iteration. The sensitivity of TMD optimum parameters was analyzed to the modal participation factor. The design method for structure-TMD system was introduced. Eventually, a numerical example was given to demonstrate the application of the method and the efficiency of TMD system to reduce structural responses.
