摘要
A study on utilization of high level of solvent extracted rice bran with and without supplementation of phytase and NSPase enzyme was conducted using 60 three-way crossbred pigs 30 kg body weight. The animals were divided into 6 groups of 10 animals each and containing an equal number of males and females. The animals were kept individually where feed and water were provided ad libitum. Each group of the animals was randomly fed an experimental diet as follows until 100 kg body weight. Diet 1: Cassava - rice bran at 15/20% in the diet as the control, Diet 2, 3 and 5: Cassava - solvent extracted rice bran at 15/20, 25/30 and 30/35% in the diet, and Diet 4 and 6: Cassava - solvent extracted rice bran at 25/30 and 30/35% in the diet with supplementation of phytase and NSPase enzyme during the growing/finishing pigs, respectively. Results of the study have shown that pigs on the control diet have better (P < 0.05) growth rate than those on other diets except Diet 6. Pigs on Diet 1, 2 and 6 have no significant different of FCR but increasing level of solvent extracted rice bran in the diet (Diet 3 and 5) significantly (P < 0.05) impaired FCR of the animals. Pigs on every diet have no significant differences on carcass characteristics and animals on enzyme supplemented diet (Diet 6) have 0.78 Bahts less of cost per unit weight gained than those on diet without supplementation of the enzymes (Diet 5).
