A study of the influence of IT on creating market orientation

摘要
With the advent of new phase of information economy, information technology (IT) has a great influence on creating market orientation in a corporation. However academic research on the topic is still limited. Aiming at filling this gap in. the literature, this paper elaborates the issue from three aspects. Firstly from the behavioral viewpoint, the paper discusses IT facilitates the market intelligence's generation, dissemination, and responses in the company. From the culture angle of view, it argues IT promotes the customer power in the market. Last, it elaborates the IT boosts the company creating the management system of market orientation.
