High-Power Operation of Terahertz Oscillators with Resonant Tunneling Diodes Using Offset-Fed Slot Antennas and Array Configuration

摘要
The high-power operation of terahertz oscillators with resonant tunneling diodes using offset-fed slot antennas and an array configuration was demonstrated. A single peak was observed in the oscillation spectrum of a two-element array by mutual injection locking. Combined output powers of 610, 270, and 180 mu W were obtained at 620, 770, and 810 GHz, respectively.
