An analysis and judgment on city core competitiveness of Hangzhou

City core competitiveness is a comparative and competitive advantage peculiar to a city, which can't be duplicated or imitated by other cities in a short time. A full recognition and exact judgment on core competitiveness will promote a city's sustainable development effectively. This paper carries out a vertical analysis on the development of Hangzhou's core competitiveness and a horizontal comparison of Hangzhou with other cities in China based on the analytic network process (ANP) and game theory, and finally draws a conclusion: the city core competitiveness of Hangzhou is an organic combination of the economic subject's innovation capability, the advantage of specific resources and sunrise industries.
