摘要
Web 2.0, are changing the traditional communication paradigms. Social networks (RRSS) have transformed the panorama of interpersonal relationships, providing new benefits and new and innovative forms of interaction and exchange of messages. This premise serves as a starting point when articulating the general objective of this research, which aims to know the current reality of university students in terms of their habits of use, motivations and behavior on social networks. For this, the quantitative methodology of the survey has been implemented through a personal interview with a structured questionnaire to a sample of 669 students from the University of Cadiz. Regarding the main conclusions of the study, the university students use the RRSS mainly to have fun, entertain themselves and develop their social relationships. Especially relevant is the concern they show about aspects related to their privacy, with identity theft and bullying in the RRSS.
