摘要
Seismic energy dissipation concept of buildings has been wildly used with the development of dampers. In this paper, a 9-stoery and a 20-stoery structural benchmark model are adopted from ASCE. Buckling-restrained brace, viscous damper and viscoelastic damper are designed based on Chinese code for the 9-stoery model. Likely, these three dampers and friction damper are designed for the 20-stoery model. The performance of the 9-stoery and the 20-stoery model with dampers are analyzed by collapse and acceleration vulnerability curves based on incremental dynamic analysis under ten earthquake records and twenty main-aftershock earthquake sequences respectively. Results show that structure control effect of dampers differs in different elevations. Finally some advices are also given for technical application.
