摘要
Porous BaTiO3-based ceramics (referred to as BST) were fabricated by adding corn- or potato-starch. The effect of starch on the microstructure and electrical properties was determined. Addition of starch into BST ceramics gave rise to porous BST ceramics, and the porosity largely increased and the grain size slightly decreased with increasing starch contents. Furthermore, the semiconducting BST ceramics showed excellent positive temperature coefficient of resistivity (PTCR) characteristics by adding 1-20 wt% of starch.
