Financial performance evaluation of sports companies quoted in Istanbul Stock Exchange with TOPSIS method The aim of this study is to provide useful and beneficial data to researchers, analysts and investors by transforming financial performance levels of sports enterprises (2003-2010) into a single score. To achieve this aim, financial performance of four sports services companies quoted in Istanbul Stock Exchange has been measured using TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) Method. Ratio analysis has been used to obtain financial data in the study and apart from asset ratios and capital ratios, liquidity, financial structure, activity and profitability ratios, which are used frequently in literature have also been used. The study revealed that between 2003-2010 Fenerbahce Sportif Hizmetler Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. has the highest performance among its competitors.
