The study adopted three revealed indexes of employment competitiveness and three-dimensional structural capital of talent growth competitiveness to sample 220 ordinary university graduates of 2012 in Guangdong province about their employment competitive power conditions. The results show that: 1) Party members in college graduates have higher starting salaries than non-party members; however, they have neither priority in competition for jobs nor higher employment satisfaction. 2) Party members in college graduates have more social and human capital but no more psychological capital than non-party members. 3) College graduates served as student cadre are not dominant in terms of starting salary, employment time and satisfaction. 4) College graduates served as student cadre have more social and psychological capital but less human capital. 5) Among college party member graduates, student cadres' psychological capital is better than that of the non-cadres, but their employment time is later than the non-cadres.
