摘要
In recent years, high expectations for the integration of RFID in healthcare scenarios have emerged. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology meets identification and tracking requirements in healthcare environments. It has the potential to speed up and increase reliability of the processes. The objective of this research work is to develop an automation system for hospital's laboratory. The system uses RFID tags attached with the samples collected from the patients for identification. Smart cards are used to store patient's data and the whole system is run under a work station which monitors the process.
